Dr John England is a consultant physician with a sub-specialty in cardiology and has worked in the public hospital system for 40 years. He has been published widely in medical journals both in Australia and overseas. 

He is a cardiologist at the coalface of private practice and a fellow of both the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand and the Royal Australian College of Physicians. John received the Centenary Medal of Australia for his cardiac care to the community of the Blue Mountains.

He currently consults at both Mudgee and the upper Blue Mountains and is on staff at Blue Mountains District Anzac Memorial hospital. John is married with three grown sons.
