Paul Nagle is a retired businesman and was formerly owner of Harvey World Travel (Katoomba). For 21 years he was a High School Science teacher with his final appointment being head of Science at Blue Mountains Grammar School. After his teaching career, Paul entered the retail travel industry with the Harvey World Travel franchise chain. He owned retail travel agencies in Lithgow, Katoomba, Gordon and Singleton.  He was chairman of Harvey World Travel Investments for 6 years.

He is a member of the Upper Blue Mountains Probus club and was formerly a member of Katoomba Rotary Club. he has been a member of Wentworth Falls Golf for 30 years. He has lived in the mountains for 39 years building his firest house in Winmalee and currently resides in Katoomba.

Since his retirement Paul has become very active with Birdlife Australia and is currently treasurer and membership co-ordinator of the NSW branch. He does volunteer work at the Birdlife Discovery Centre at Sydney Olympic Park and is on the Education committe of Birdlife. Paul also is involved with the Australian Bird Atlas and is doing survey work in conjunction with Blue Mountains Bird Observers on the Rock Warbler.

He is married with 2 children and 4 grand children.
